We have all most likely heard of or even used Donors Choose to help get much needed supplies for our classrooms and schools. But, did you know there are other sites out there that can also help you get things that you may lack the money for? I personally have not tried out these other sites, but thought I would share them anyway.
If you or someone you know have used anything other than Donors Choose to help stock up your classroom, then please leave feedback below? We'd all love to hear about the positives and negatives.
Also, if you know of any other similar sites, feel free to share those as well! Thanks.
- Adopt A Classroom
- National Teacher Registry
- Teacher Lists
- Teacher Wish Lists
Great information. Thanks!

Here's an AWESOME and most helpful reply I got regarding this post on my Facebook page:
ReplyDeleteSouthern Hospitality on Donorschoose- There are also: Classwish, Digital Wish, First Book, Kids in Need Foundation, Reading is Fundamental, and Art Room Aid. DonorsChoose is the most popular and most effective at getting funding. Plus people can get additional help for DonorsChoose through the various giving pages most of which can be found on Facebook. Adopt-a-Classroom is nice because teachers can communicate directly with donors. They can develop a long term relationship for continued support and they can cross over to take advantage of DonorsChoose opportunities when there are match codes. Adopt-a-Classroom and Art Room Aid are nice because they aren't all or nothing the way DonorsChoose is. Any donations you get you can spend immediately.
