Pinteresting Digraphs...and a Request

Recently I began tutoring a little girl. She is super sweet! It seems that one of the main areas that I am seeing her struggle with are digraphs (blends). Thus, I decided to look up some great resources to help me help her. Below are links to many Pinterest resources regarding Digraphs.

However, if you know of any more ideas or resources, please let me know. I would love to hear them!

I also have a request. This is my 199th Blog post! The blog has also now officially hit over 30,000 views!! Thank you so much to all of you who read and support this blog. I could not have done it without you!

I will be posting a BIG giveaway to celebrate these milestones, before April ends. However, I am need of more contributions. Please click the link below if you are willing to contribute in any way. I thank you all in advance!

Have a wonderful day!

Testing Tips & Tidbits

Just like many other schools across the country, our state testing begins this week. Anymore, that seems to be what schools focus on all the time, all year long. Sad isn't it?

Regardless of the heavy testing focus, schools are still required to administer these high stakes tests. Students are very aware of their importance, and just like on any other test, they can become anxious or nervous.

Thus, it's important to be even more positive with students this time of year. There are great motivational ideas and testing tips out there to help with this.

I am sharing a few of these below. If you have any other ideas, feel free to share! We'd all love to hear them!

Good luck to everyone on their state testing!

"Tech" Out These Blogs!

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Teachers are truly each other's best resources! I am really enjoying this online PLN journey. I love learning and reading from others in the field and I love sharing the new knowledge with other educators even more!
So, today I thought I'd share some of my favorite Ed Tech blogs. All of these have great resources and seem to be updated on a very frequent basis.
If you know of any others that are not on this list, please feel free to share them!
Thanks and Happy Friday!

KC Tech Net Conference: Part 2

So, now on to Part 2 of the list of new sites I learned about via the KC Tech Net conference back in February. Below I am including many multimedia and student resource tools. So far, the only site that I've actually been able to use with my students, is Wonderopolis. I used it today with 2nd grade and they loved it! Please check out that site if you are unfamiliar with it. It's great! I will post more soon about how I used it with my students.

In case you missed it, you can click HERE for Part 1 of the KC Tech Net links.

For now, please enjoy these 6 sites below. If you have used any of these before, I'd love to hear your feedback and ideas!

Happy April, everyone!
